Specifications: The LG 32LH30 32-inch LCD HDTV is one of the latest entry level LCD models to hit the market. It is a full HD LCD model that is capable of playing HD movies at 1080p. The screen is a TFT active matrix display, with a contrast ration of 50’000:1. With a viewing angle of 178 degrees, this LCD can be viewed from almost any angle. It also has a speedy 6ms response time. This model is EPA Energy Star compliant.

Design: The LG 32LH30 32-inch LCD HDTV measures at 36.4 x 5.6 x 20.8 inches and weighs 29.5 pounds. It has a mostly glossy black external casing and the screen rests on a semi-circle swivel stand. The bezel is relatively thin, making the screen look larger. Like most LCD models, this LCD has hidden speakers.

Features & Performance: The LG 32LH30 32-inch LCD HDTV’s menu interface is pretty straight forward to easy to use. Most of the connectors are located behind the unit with an additional HDMI and composite AV output on the side. While playing HD movies on this unit, the black levels aren’t as dark as we would like it to be but the overall picture quality is good. The colors were accurate and there is a wide variety of picture settings for you to choose the desired video quality. Currently, the LG 32LH30 32-inch LCD HDTV sells for around $504 each, a decent price tag for a model of this class. Overall, LG has successfully produced a budget-friendly LCD model that delivers.
